Singing Dog

Canis lupus hallstromi

Animals of Australia Back
The singing dog looks similar to a dingo (Australian wild dog) but has a shorter, broader muzzle. Its eyes are reflective and glow a bright green in low light which is unusual in canines. This “singer” has the ability to produce some unique howls with an extensive range of pitches and signals much like whale songs. They are good diggers and can also climb trees.
