Animals of All Regions
This species is considered to be extremely noisy. When in a flock, they often call out to each other in loud chattering, almost in chorus-like fashion. In addition, the white spots on its tail make the green woodhoopoe easily identifiable.
Green woodhoopoe’s do not necessarily build nests for their eggs. Instead, eggs are laid in a hole in a tree with occasional leaves for lining.
