The greater kudu is a social animal. They live in mixed sex groups of up to 25 kudus.
The male greater kudu is distinguished by large spiral horns, which can grow to be over 3 feet long. Female greater kudus have do not have horns. Greater kudus are also very good at jumping and can reach heights of over 6 feet.
